CLAW MACHINE

CLAW MACHINE started on the 4th of July its festival journey in the city where it was first conceived, Palermo, at the Sole Luna Doc Film Festival, winning the “Film For Our Future" award and the "Sole Luna Audience award". It also won the First Prize for the short movie competition at ريف - REEF Festival in Lebanon (3/09/2023). It was selected on the DISFF 2023.
Claw Machine is the story of an immersion into the experience of being uprooted. Fragments and words. The unspoken, the indescribable. Memory shaken. Eyes closed. The city is under siege. Drift towards the unknown. The dilemma: resistance or migration? Mediterranean voyages of no return. - Georges Salameh
After Drama International Film Festival (5/09/2023) next stop was at the International Animation Festival Animasyros, on the 29 September 2023, where it won the Best Greek Film award!

Το CLAW MACHINE ξεκίνησε το φεστιβαλικό του ταξίδι στις 4 Ιουλίου 2023, από το Παλέρμο, την πόλη στην οποία γεννήθηκε η ιδέα της ταινίας, κερδίζοντας το βραβείο “Film For Our Future” και το “Βραβείο Κοινού” στο Sole Luna Doc Film Festival. Στην επόμενη στάση του στο Λίβανο (3/09/2023) κέρδισε το Πρώτο Βραβείο στο διαγωνιστικό ταινιών μικρού μήκους του ريف - REEF Festival.
Το Claw Machine είναι η ιστορία της βύθισης στο βίωμα του ξεριζωμού. Θραύσματα και λέξεις. Το ανείπωτο, το μη περιγράψιμο. Η μνήμη κλονίζεται. Η πόλη πολιορκείται. Τα μάτια κλείνουν. Η φυγή προς το άγνωστο. Το δίλημμα είναι: αντίσταση ή μετανάστευση; Μεσογειακά ταξίδια χωρίς επιστροφή. - Georges Salameh
Μετά το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Ταινιών Δράμας (5/09/2023), στην επόμενη στάση του στο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Animation Animasyros, στις 29 Σεπτεμβρίου 2023, κέρδισε το βραβείο Καλύτερης Ελληνικής Ταινίας!
